Stuck in Frieburg

So,we were going to try to go to town of Rothenburg. Rick Steves say its a great place to visit. We had our train reservations made and all we had to do was try to find some where to stay there. We email the only hostel in town and there fully book for the next two days. So we decide to go the the Rhine Valley. We email seven different hotels there and they are all book too. So we're stuck in Frieburg for another night then on Sunday were going to try to get to the rhine valley.

so apparently europe is not as tiny as everyone says. we left athens greece at 11 am on saturday and just got to bologna italy at 500 pm on sunday. we had a 4 hour bus ride 18 hour ferry ride and then a 6 hour train ride i dont think i have ever sat so much!!! the ferry ride was interesting we had to pay 17 euro (30 dollarsish) for a deck spot, which literally got us on the ship and nothing more!! brian and i had to share a half couch for the both of us not thebest sleep i have ever gotten. we then got lost in bologna and didnt have any idea where to find a hostel so we walked around for over an hour and finally found a 3 star hotel with a great discount so we get to sleep like kings i am really excited sadly!! we are going to walk around tomorrow during the day and then we have a train to catch to oktoberfest tomorrow night

DAY 8!!

hey guys!
yesterday we went to the acropolis and the parthenon! it was really hot and a long trek...kinda like hiking camelback which was NOT fun! but the sites were really cool. we also went to the olympic stadium where the olympics were held in 2004. apparently it is not in use at all anymore we were the only people there and it felt like we were in a post apoclyptic movie where everyone else was dead and there was just really nice buildings everywhere. we tried to break into one of the buildings but the doors were locked so it was a complete waste. athens night life is fun! they certainly know how to drink. i tried to order a shot of ouzo (which is their national drink) but instead i was given an entire glass of it. so it was basically like drinking vodka straight! we are off to take a ferry to italy now and then straight to munich for oktoberfest!

day 5

Hey!
we finally made it to athens greece at 1 am!!! we managed to miss 3 flights (2 were standby) and lose our luggage twice but we finally made it in one piece. we are going to go visit the acropolis tomorrow and are planning on visiting the islands in a couple of days. we already met some girls from denmark that are really nice so we are going to go drink with them!! (yah im old enough to drink here FINALLY!!!!!)

Day One

Well, we should be flying over the Atlantic ocean today but due to some flight problems (i.e. we didn't get on a flight using our buddy passes) we are still in LA so we are actually farther from Europe than when we started our trip!! Hopefully, tomorrow we can get a flight to somewhere on the continent of Europe.
