hey guys!
yesterday we went to the acropolis and the parthenon! it was really hot and a long trek...kinda like hiking camelback which was NOT fun! but the sites were really cool. we also went to the olympic stadium where the olympics were held in 2004. apparently it is not in use at all anymore we were the only people there and it felt like we were in a post apoclyptic movie where everyone else was dead and there was just really nice buildings everywhere. we tried to break into one of the buildings but the doors were locked so it was a complete waste. athens night life is fun! they certainly know how to drink. i tried to order a shot of ouzo (which is their national drink) but instead i was given an entire glass of it. so it was basically like drinking vodka straight! we are off to take a ferry to italy now and then straight to munich for oktoberfest!

Highhhhhh larious that Monica didnt like hiking, isnt that what you guys are going to be doing for the next 12 weeks??? :)
Anyways how is the traveling aspect?? Do you guys look like steroid taking wrestlers yet from your heavy pacs???

ReplyDeletewalking around the acropolis was walking all UPHILL i just expected to walk on a flat surface silly!! i dont look like china doll yet although i think my shoulders will be permanently sore from carrying my sak. and amazingly i havent lost any weight even though we barely eat (i guess the alcohol doesnt help either!!) and it was not like country thunder because you werent there it was nowhere as fun!!
So just how much drinking have you done??Why has Brian not written anything.Is he still alive..LOL
